Post your event on Movvent, and run it from one place
Movvent is the app for every kind of event in Kuwait. Teams, community groups, companies, schools and government bodies post their events there, and people find them, join and check in on site. Here is what the app gives organisers.
Every event under your organisation’s name
Every event on Movvent is run by an organisation. You create its page in the app, add admins who run it with you, and publish events under its name, so people know who is behind an event before they join. Organisations are approved before they post, and every new event is reviewed before it goes live.
Clear details before anyone joins
You publish the event with its purpose, time, place on the map and number of places. Anyone reading it knows what is being asked of them before they agree, and that alone saves you half the questions. When it is full, people can join the waitlist, and the next in line moves up when a place frees.
See who joined and who came
Run the participants in one place instead of a group chat: who joined, who checked in, whose attendance is confirmed. You can message everyone taking part, and review check-ins yourself or with helpers on the day.
A participant checks in from inside the event area with a selfie, and reviewers see how far they were from the place, not their exact location. A person always makes the attendance decision. Details are in the privacy notice.
Invitations for participants and helpers
Share an invitation link with the people taking part, and another with those who help you run the event. A helper sees the participant list and reviews check-ins and videos, without being able to edit the event itself.
Initiatives by video
Alongside events on site, an organisation can run an initiative people take part in by video, in their own time: a short invitation video, a window to take part in, and a filter that carries its sponsors’ names. The Movvent team reviews the videos, and the final say is yours before they show on the initiative’s page.
Coins for the people who come
Once a participant’s attendance is confirmed, coins come their way as a thank-you, to use in the Market. Coins have no cash value, and nobody pays to join or to post an event.
On the App Store
The Movvent iPhone app is launching on the App Store; it is not on Google Play. If you run events in Kuwait, sign up as an organiser in the launch sign-up, or email info@nubadir.com to tell us about your events.
